Overview of Foundations of Aromatherapy for Wellness Advocates

 

This course is specifically for Wellness Advocates of any MLM company and includes top blends.

 

Upon successful completion of this course, students will demonstrate proficiency in the Foundations of Aromatherapy while engaging in a code of conduct beneficial to their clients. 

  • Completion of Foundations of Aromatherapy for Wellness Advocates should take approximately 55 hours. 

  • The course is delivered through an online home study.

  • There is 1 assignment that is required submission for grading

  • 5 case studies to be completed and submitted for grading 

  • It is recommended for students to join the private Facebook group that is emailed at registration to receive peer support for studying and making connections. 

 

Completing this course the student will demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Summarizing the history of aromatherapy from ancient to modern times

  • Comprehending the basic concepts of aromatherapy

  • Comprehending the safe use of essential oils

  • Comprehending the chemical properties of 20 essential oils and applying this knowledge

  • Developing a blend and treatment plan to address concerns of clients

  • Comprehending essential oils in the process from harvesting to bottling

  • Describing the therapeutic properties and use of carrier oils

  • Recognizing the purpose of and performing a professional consultation and assessment

  • Developing a business outline

  • Engaging at all times in a code of conduct beneficial to the clients

 

If you wish to be recognized by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) you can be recognized as a Level 1 NAHA Aromatherapist.  If you have never taken a course in anatomy and physiology, it is required to take our Module 2 Anatomy and Physiology course as well to be recognized.  If you have your A & P from other sources this may be recognized at the discretion of NAHA.

Nikki Fraser

Nikki is a wife, and mother to two wonderful spirited little boys, and gave birth to a beautiful surrogate baby girl in December 2017. Her earlier careers include being a qualified Child and Youth Care Worker, and Addictions Counsellor. Helping people has always been at her core, so when essential oils came into her life, she knew empowering others to learn about them was her passion. She decided to become a Certified Aromatherapist Health Practitioner and is the founder of Fraser Holistic Health. She has since specialized in Essential Oils and Pregnancy and is currently completing her Aromatic Medicine course. Nikki is also a Certified Reflexologist and mindful birth educator.
