Overview of the Aromatherapy Certification Courses

Upon completion of Module 1 - Aromatherapy, and Module 2 - Anatomy & Physiology, and your 30 case studies you will have completed 400 hours of training. 

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to show a knowledge of:

  • Summarize the history of aromatherapy

  • Comprehend the basic concepts of aromatherapy

  • Comprehend the safe use of essential oils

  • Comprehend the chemical properties of essential oils and apply this knowledge

  • Develop a blend and treatment plan to address the conditions as listed in the core curriculum

  • Comprehend harvesting to the bottling of essential oils

  • Describe therapeutic properties and use of carrier oils

  • Describe properties and use of hydrosols

  • Produce a variety of personal aromatherapy products

  • Describe the basic components of a business practice

  • Recognize the purpose of performing a professional consultation and assessment

  • Differentiating how aromatherapy applies to special groups.

  • Engage at all times in a code of conduct beneficial to clients
